Professor Oraee spoke about the importance of the mining and minerals sector in the economy of the country.

Speaking before a packed audience of all academics and professionals in the mining and minerals industry, Professor Kazem Oraee showed the results of his academic research. He claimed that approximately one third of the Iranian economy depends on the mining and minerals activities.

The speech made a positive and large impact on the attitudes of all those present. Also in the audience were government top officials and many parliamentarians. Professor Kazem Oraee has always maintained that the only sector of the economy that can bring about real and sustainable economic growth is the mining sector.
